We visited for brunch today and it was wonderful to see the restaurant buzzing and very busy! There was a mixture of people in, from a couple of large parties to couples and family’s with small children. Everyone was talking amongst themselves and it was nice to not whisper or feel like our conversations were being listened too. Within our party we ordered full English breakfasts and the BBL special of garlic mushrooms on sourdough with hollandaise sauce. Our needs were met we didn’t require black pudding with the full English. The food did not disappoint it was perfectly cooked and hot. The service we received was perfect and the 2 waiters were very efficient and polite but without loitering while we were eating. The coffee was the perfect temperature and the beans used were perfectly roasted. We asked for sugar and this was brought to our table immediately. We also took away with us 2 croissants and a slice of the chocolate and banana loaf. We have been out for breakfast at other restaurants and personally prefer the atmosphere here. We absolutely will be telling our friends and coming back again.
The service here is always exceptional, never any qualms. We sat in the outdoor seating area which was stunning and the perfect place to enjoy food and drink in the sunshine. We had the new BBL (breakfast brunch and lunch) menu and I chose the Club Classic, Chicken Focaccia sandwich which was THE best sandwich I have ever tasted. The iced coffee was delicious, everything you could ask for in an iced coffee. Overall my visit was sublime and I will 100% going back and already arranging the second BBL visit.
1st Visit to celebrate my Birthday on strong recommendation from a friend of mine.The best Sunday lunch ever.Lovely stylish Restaurant, with free parking opposite.Staff really friendly and efficient.The Drinks are great and good Wine list @ Cocktails. Menu was excellent with lots of specials.I went for Mussels to start, and a Quadzilla which was a mixture of Roast Beef, Turkey,pork belly @ 18 hr cooked lamb served with gravy cauliflower and broccoli cheese, mixed veg and roast and Mash.Dessert-trio of Ice Cream,washed down with an Irish Coffee. Fabulous Restaurant will definitely see you again.
Went for breakfast today and was spot on. Staff super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. I love that they now offer both a relaxed brunch vibe alongside the formal dining. Something for everyone. Plenty of tables for people to sit in quiet if they desire. Great work guys - you’ve nailed it.
I enjoyed the new breakfast menu with my family on Saturday. The food was incredible, and the menu is vast and varied. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially breakfast cocktail . Can't wait to visit again!
We love this place. It is an absolute hidden gem. The food is amazing and excellent value for money. It’s not the cheapest place to eat, but the quality of the food, the quantity and the amazing service makes it well, well worth it. We’ll be back (again) very soon.
Have visited Fourwards on many occasions, lunch, evening and Sunday roast and it is always incredible. We came for the new brunch/lunch menu and again, everything was amazing. We had the salmon and parma ham focaccia sandwiches, the best ever sweet potato fries and chips, fresh baked pastries and tasty coffee. Portions are big and I took some home with me. Hardworking staff and nothing is too much trouble! Sit in the beautiful garden area if the weather is nice. 10/10
We've been here quite a few times now and the food is always 10/10. This time was for the Sunday roast which was incredible. I also have to say hands down THE BEST sticky toffee pudding I have EVER had!!
